Hi, how are you doing?
It is already December and I can't believe it... I feel it's really first to time went by.
I took a cold last week and I could not attend this IE Seminar class;(((
These days It became colder and colder so please be careful for yourself not to take a cold like me!
Today, I will introduce one short video related to the book I choose on YouTube.
Here is the URL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VKlJGZN79A
In this video, a woman is introducing North African cuisine in Paris.
As I wrote on last posts, I'm reading a book related to the food culture in the Near East, Middle East, and North Africa. So this video is good for me to know about North African food culture.
North African influences can be seen all around Paris. She was in a restaurant called "Comptoir" located in a central of Paris. Mr.Philippe says North African cuisine is very flavorful , strong spices all around and we really have to appriciate a style of food that's very sweet and salty because there 's strong tendency towards such flavors.
Tajine looks very tasty and the inside of the restraunt has really good atmosphere. I would like to visit this restaurant some day!
Thank you for reading.

Welcome to my food blog!
Hi, I'm Maho. I will write my food blog for the first time. Today, I'm going to write about the book I choose for this class. The book is "Food Culture in the Near East, Middle East, and North Africa". I choose this book because I'm interested in Middle East and North Africa's food and religious culture. we can learn how religious strictures on food and drink continue to play an important role in eating habits there today for Muslims, Jews, and Christians. This is relevant to my interests. I hope I can learn lots of things through this book.
